What does Make a Future do?
Established in 2008, Make a Future serves as the official job board for K-12 schools in British Columbia. We collaborate with 60 public school boards, the First Nations Education Steering Committee, and the provincial Ministry of Education. Our mission is to improve the BC education system by facilitating the recruitment of qualified teachers and implementing top-tier HR practices to aid in their retention.
Territorial acknowledgement
Make a Future has offices in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the traditional and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓ əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.
Our work spans across the province, which is home to thousands of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people—each with their own unique traditions, history and culture.
We are committed to Reconciliation and to strong Indigenous partnerships and relationships.
